Do What Feels Good
Sometime in the middle of the night I woke up and realized that I didn’t feel good…it didn’t feel good. The “it” was a business proposal that I’d been mulling over all day. On the surface, it seemed like something that I should have wanted to do. It’s a dinner party series and I absolutely love dinner parties.
After making sure that it wasn’t fear, I realized that the thought of it simply didn’t feel good to me and that was enough to say no. I didn’t need to have any explanation as to why. All I needed to do was trust the feeling.
We’re taught that life has to be difficult and complex, but it doesn’t. Become more aware of how you feel and follow what makes you feel good. It’s that simple.
I was texting with a friend last night and she had so much to do and no energy to do it. She felt like she should be writing when all she wanted to do was go to sleep. I told her to go to sleep. That simple.
If an idea doesn’t excite you, don’t do it. Find what does. Give yourself permission to follow what feels good. Everything that you need will flow from that space and you’ll be happier.
When you do what feels good, you attract more things that feel good.
