I know, I know. This was absolutely only supposed to be a three part series. However, I went to church on Sunday and realized that I missed a big one, probably the most important one of all: Faith! If you want to do this type of traveling, you have to believe that it can happen before you even see any proof.
Forget the naysayers.
There will be so many people telling you that you can’t do it. They’ll say you can’t afford it. They’ll add that you don’t know anything about the place. They give these messages about how unsafe it is. Then they’ll sprinkle all of this with words like impossible. Don’t let people tell you what you can do and what you can’t do. Most of the time, it’s their own fear and not being able to see your vision. If you have the vision, it can come true.
Forget logic.
Some things just don’t make any sense and I’ve learned that it’s ok. Like the naysayers will say (see #1) it should be impossible. However, the universe will always conspire to make sure you have what your heart desires (that sounded so Zen).
Forget what you can see right now.
I know, sometimes it’s easy to give up because you’ve worked forever on something and nothing happens. It’s possible that your plans might take a little bit longer than possible or that it won’t go exactly as you planned. It’s ok. Although I can’t really see it right now, I know I’ll be out of the United States for at least 4 months next year and then 6 months the year after that.
These things clearly doesn’t just apply to travel. Don’t give up on whatever it is that you’ve set out to do. You have this vision for a reason and because of that it can happen. You just have to have faith.

Great message. I like the part about the naysayers. there are A LOT of those out there or people who look at you saying yes with their mouths but thinking no which is written all over their faces. It can be discouraging but I keep telling myself I need to accomplish this goal for me not anyone else.

Yeah, sometimes it can get to be overwhelming when most people can’t understand what it is that you’re trying to do. That is the difficulty with going against the status quo. But, it can be done and you can do it.

There are way many more things to say about travelling, and yet another post!
nay sayers are so… oh gosh old fashioned *giggle* I figured out though that nay-sayers are actually yes-sayers but without the gutts. many of them are envious and would like to be as brave as you are but they just don’t dare.
I completely agree with the fact to forget logic. Why do we need logic? Sometimes things that don’t make sense actually do make sense at the end. Having a vision is good but sometimes challenging it is even more fun! =)
Sounds great that you already know you’ll be travelling that much!! I envy you!! =)
